Believe it or not.. this song is making a lot of sense to me at the moment. Anyway, I know it's really rare that I double post, but I'm in the mood right now for it. Oh, and don't forget the lovely extra three hours I get today, because the father of the girls I babysit got a day off of work for whatever reason. I'm sitting by the fire, giving me a lovely sun burn on my back from the warmth, and my lovely brother listening to Italian music on Music Choice radio... Very picturesque. Minus the screaming I am doing at YouTube, which is refusing to upload my videos of the snow and dance this weekend.
First thing I wanted to say was that I dropped out of Camelot and The Producers... leaving me with only A Christmas Carol. I told Cameron last week that it was just too much at the time. He totally was cool about it. He said he didn't blame me, because I was one of the younger members, and it is very time consuming.
On a second note... People need to stop underestimating me. I carried a forty pound mat today by myself and people were shocked... I hate going to the weight room at school because I like challenging myself, and people always make comments... I think it comes from me being the runt until 6th grade. I was ALWAYS the shortest in my classes at schools, the tiny one. I think that's what made me so strong... proving people wrong.
Another thing, (Am I boring you yet?) I'm looking for some sheet music actually. Does anyone know about getting music for The Butterfly (I'm having trouble trying to get the last half by ear), I Saw Three Ships, and Blue Bonnet Ov'r the Border? No rush, but I havn't been able to get my hands on any of these.
That's really it for now...

Silent Night

Okay, so Cincinnati saw it's first snow last night...well officially this morning, but it started flurrying last night. It's not really sticking yet, but is starting to on harder objects like out back porch, and the table outside, so I'm happy. By no means she we have a snow day soon, but I absolutely adore the snow. Oh, and I adore setting fire to the fireplace and sitting by it, getting heat rash on my back from it's warmth!
My brother and I went to the mall with my grandmother to get some ingredients for gingerbread and cannolis (Don't ask), and she said we could go to the mall and get me a turtleneck (I've been dying for one, and Goodwill is just not meeting my winter craving for a turtleneck!). So we went to Biggs to get the ingredients, and walked across the street to the mall, and what do you know. When we walk inside and hm... Christmas music playing, lots of shoppers, and of course, the very controversial... NATAVITY! I think if I see another blond haired, blue eyed Mary, and the twenty various people (Shepherds and whatnot) I SHALL SCREAM MR BUMMBLE I SHALL SCREAM! (Pardon my Musical Theatre!)
Being Catholic, I know that is sort of how it is taught to us, but also being a historical accurate type person, I do get in trouble sometimes with the bible and religious figures. (And pardon, I haven't the time to write up the whole thing myself, so I took it off of a wonderful site)
2 (And this ataxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called aBethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)5 To be taxed with Mary his aespoused wife, being great with child.6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the aglory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.12 And this shall be a asign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.16 And they came with ahaste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.18 And all they that heard it awondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.19 But Mary kept all these things, and apondered them in her heart.20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.21 And when eight days were accomplished for the acircumcising of the child, his name was called bJESUS, which was so cnamed of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.Okay, I know most of my friends are Christian, so they should know most of this, if not all by heart, but I wanted to make it clear, that as I believe this and keep it in my mind... I'm not sure how historically ACCURATE it is. Not so much the scripture but how the public portrays it, as well as the Catholic church. I think they glorify it a bit too much, and whether you agree or not, it's your choice.I don't know if any of you have seen the fairly recent portrayal in THE NATIVITY STORY, but I think that's the most accurate bit I've heard of in a while. I think it very unlikly the whole senario of all those people being there, but has anyone actually done research on that region, previous traditions (Before Christ), and most importantly, at least breifly looked over women traditions (The best I know how to put it).So please read the passage again. With the eyes of yours, not the chruch. Sorry if I went against what you believe, but it was really bothering me, and I really wanted to know why people felt this way, because I don't see it. If you could help me, I'd be grateful, but I'm sorry I don't see it myself.Oh one more thing.... I know none of you do this... but I don't get why some Christian's get all fussy when someone is Jewish... I'm not sure I understand why it is bad to be Jewish.. when the Christ Child himself was Jewish... I mean, I know the differences, but REALLY??? Are some so self centered they forgotten? Brainwashed?I had no intent on bashin the church, but it was needed to make a few points clear.Morgyn

see relatedWe'd Like to Thank You, Herbert Hoover....
Today we're living in a shanty
Today we're scrounging for a meal
Today I'm stealing coal for fires
Who knew i could steal?
I used to winter in the tropics
I spent my summers at the shore
I used to throw away the paper-- We don't have anymore
We'd like to thank you: Herbert Hoover
For really showing us the way
We'd like to thank you: Herbert Hoover
You made us what we are today
Prosperity was 'round the corner
The cozy cottage built for two
In this blue heaven
That you
Gave us
Yes!
We're turning blue!
They offered us Al Smith and Hoover
We paid attention and we chose
Not only did we pay attention
We paid through the nose.
In every pot he said "a chicken"
But Herbert Hoover he forgot
Not only don't we have the chicken
We ain't got the pot!
Hey Herbie
You left behind a grateful nation
So, Herb, our hats are off to you
We're up to here with admiration
Come down and have a little stew
Come down and share some Christmas dinner
Be sure to bring the missus too
We got no turkey for our stuffing
We'd like to thank you, Herbert Hoover
For really showing us the way
You dirty rat, you Bureaucrat, you
Made us what we are today
Come and get it, Herb!-We'd Like to Thank You, Herbert Hoover from Broadway's Annie
Yea, It's sort of how I feel today. I was highly encouraged this morning when I woke up to read Aly's political post, to shout at people talking politics at school. "Go Obama!" "Johnny lost *Is sad*" Shut up people!!! American gave us McCain and Obama, and sadly we had to choose between the two of them. Having struggled so hard to form this country, you'd think we wouldn't take these things for granite, but you know, I'm moving to Canada or England, or somewhere like that, much more organized!!!
And to quote Aly: "I'm not surprised, not at all. But it's sort of a shock, seeing the crowds screaming and praising Obama, when they have no idea what they've just done. Yes, he's charismatic. And has slightly darker skin. And is favoured by the media. So what? Hitler had charisma! It's so sad, seeing all these people just following along with the media and with the anti-Bushism that is currently popular. I hate to say it but the parallels between America today and Germany in the 1930s are frightening. You start with abortion and go on to euthanasia and other "mercy killing" and what's next? Who will be the next group to be denied the right to live? How much farther is it possible to fall?"
And once more I am going to see I have to agree. I'm sure I'm not the only one who heard:
John McCain: "Oh he is doing to die in office"
Barrack Obama: "He is going to be assisaned"
But I hate to say there is no tollerance in the USA, but there really isn't. If I can hear Nigar, Beaner, or even Fuckin Jew in the hallway, I hate to tell you America, but wake up!!!! We have a black presedent now, and with little experiance, even if it is only slightly less then McCain. We will be deeper forced into this "Debt" problem and we will be faced with mercy killings in the next few years!!!! Another Hitler or another Herbert Hoover??

Okay, I don't like the Jonas Brothers, but I must admit to liking their new song and music video... just because it does have that 40s feel, and the song is actually clean and not about modern love junk!!!
